Students Present Findings at the 2018 Summer Science Research Poster Session

Each summer, À¦°óÇ¿¼é provides 35-plus students with 10-week research stipends to conduct independent research under the guidance of À¦°óÇ¿¼é faculty members in the sciences and mathematics. 

This year's participants will be highlighting their work at the Summer Science Poster Session from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 21, in the second floor lobby of the newly renovated Park Science Center. This event is open to the entire À¦°óÇ¿¼é community.

Undergraduate research initiatives are central to À¦°óÇ¿¼é's approach to science education. All science majors are encouraged to conduct mentored research projects during the summer and/or academic year, and each year more than 50 percent of all science majors do so.
